iAM Engineer (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for Access Management (IAM) Engineer who will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of an organization's IAM infrastructure.

Certification Required :

- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

- Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM).

- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Job Responsibilities :

Design and Implementation :

- Develop and implement IAM solutions to support business and security requirements.

- This includes integrating identity and access management systems with enterprise applications and ensuring seamless user experiences.

Maintenance and Support :

- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for IAM systems, ensuring their availability, performance, and reliability.

- This includes troubleshooting issues, performing upgrades, and applying patches.

Access Control Management :

- Define, implement, and manage user access controls, roles, and permissions.

- Ensure that access is granted based on the principle of least privilege.

Security Policies and Compliance :

- Develop and enforce IAM security policies, procedures, and standards.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

User Lifecycle Management :

- Automate and manage the full user lifecycle, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and role management.

- Ensure that access rights are up-to-date and aligned with current job responsibilities.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) :

- Implement and manage MFA solutions to enhance security for critical systems and data.

Audit and Reporting :

- Conduct regular audits of IAM systems and processes to ensure compliance with security policies.

- Generate reports on access control activities and incidents.

Collaboration and Training :

- Work closely with IT, security, and business teams to understand their requirements and provide IAM solutions that meet their needs.

- Provide training and support to users and other stakeholders on IAM processes and tools.

Skill / Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in IAM or a related field, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions.

- Proficiency in IAM technologies and tools such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and identity governance solutions.

- Familiarity with cloud-based IAM solutions is also beneficial.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
