Role & responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
• Initiate and participate in branding, promotional activities, and new product launches.
• Identify and pursue different channels of sales and distribution for the varied products of Aamro Dairies like the agri business of silage, embryo transfer service, bull semen, farmmate dairy management software and any new products the company may produce or trade in the future
• Design and implement strategic sales plans to expand the companys market share.
• Conduct market research and gather customer insights to refine sales strategies.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Meet sales targets allocated for the incumbent and take necessary actions to meet revenue and profitability goals. Customer Service & Relationship Management
• Manage customer service operations, including responding to queries, handling complaints, and ensuring quick resolution of escalations.
• Take ownership of customer complaints and concerns, ensuring an enhanced customer experience.
• Liaise with the sales and support teams to maintain high service levels.
• Implement strategies to improve customer retention and satisfaction. Operations and Logistics Management • Coordinate vehicle deliveries to ensure on-time dispatch and optimize delivery routes for efficiency
. • Work closely with the production team to resolve any production-related challenges that impact sales.
• Assist in farm management and operational activities as required.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, ensuring timely distribution and product availability
. • Maintain quality standards in accordance with ISO and management guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. Reporting and MIS • Maintain accurate and updated records of sales, customer interactions, distributor performance, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present detailed reports to management on sales metrics, customer service trends, and operational improvements. • Utilize data-driven insights to enhance business strategies and decision-making
Preferred candidate profile
Qualifications
1. 5-7 years experience in a similar role
2. MBA or equivalent degree
3. Bachelors of Masters in Veterinary Science (added advantage)
Skills and Competencies
1. Proven experience in sales, distribution, and customer service management.
2. Ability to manage distributor relationships and onboard new partners.
3. Strong communication skills and ability to handle customer escalations professionally.
4. Proficiency in MS Office and experience in managing sales data and reports.
5. Ability to work under pressure and handle operational challenges effectively.
6. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to oversee production, farm operations, and logistics when needed
