Job Description
1. ETRM User Support
- Respond promptly to inquiries and support requests from business users across multiple regions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day ETRM issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the London support team during the morning handover.
2. ETRM Development Scripting
- Develop and maintain scripts or small-scale applications (e.g., Python, SQL) to customize or extend ETRM functionalities, particularly within Aspect.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Front Office, Back Office) to identify enhancement opportunities.
- Ensure coding best practices and maintain updated documentation for all development work.
3. System Monitoring Optimization
- Proactively monitor ETRM performance to identify potential issues before they impact users.
- Work with senior developers and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
4. Issue Tracking Documentation
- Document all support activities, issue resolutions, and development changes in a clear and organized manner.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to a knowledge base of known issues, tips, and best practices to expedite future problem resolutions.
- Stay updated on new features, releases, and best practices related to the ETRM platform.
- Participate in regular reviews to streamline support processes, improve development efficiency, and enhance system stability.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in an ETRM support or development role, ideally within commodities trading or financial services.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) to create and maintain system customizations.
- Familiarity with ETRM systems, especially Aspect (Ion), is strongly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively support and collaborate with global teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to support multiple time zones.
