Job Description
- Extensive experience with Magento 2 development, including custom module and extension development, theming, and configuration.
- Experience with Magento 2 CLI commands for administration, caching, indexing, and deployment.
- Proficient in PHP, especially PHP 7.4+ and PHP 8, with strong knowledge of OOP concepts.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Experience with LESS/SCSS, Knockout.js (used in Magento s front end), and jQuery.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, including database design, query optimization, and data migration.
- Familiarity with Zend Framework (Laminas) and Symfony components used in Magento.
- Experience with Composer for managing dependencies and module installations.
- Proficiency with Git for code versioning and collaboration.
- Magento 2 Architecture:
- Familiarity with Magento s modular architecture, ORM, MVC, and EAV database models.
- Understanding of Magento s event/observer system, plugins, and dependency injection (DI).
- E-commerce:
- Knowledge of eCommerce concepts, including catalog management, cart and checkout processes, product attributes, and pricing rules.
- Experience with common integrations like payment gateways, shipping methods, and tax configurations
- Performance Optimization:
- Experience with caching tools like Redis, Varnish, and Magento s built-in caching mechanisms.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for faster page loads and smooth user experience.
- Security Best Practices:
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices, including XSS, CSRF, SQL injection prevention, and secure server configurations.
- Familiarity with HTTPS, PCI compliance, and data encryption methods.
- Testing and Debugging:
- Proficient in using debugging tools, Magento logs, and browser developer tools to troubleshoot issues.
- Experience with automated testing, unit testing, and integration testing in a Magento environment.
