Senior Structural Engineer

ASC founder is looking for a talented Senior Structural Engineer role. Local Mumbai candidates will be preferred. This is an office-based position in the company. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. The design manager will play a key role in working with the Founder as a Structural Engineer on projects and a key point of contact with clients whenever required. The design manager will play a key role in establishing design guidelines The candidate currently must be a Senior Structural Engineer post minimum or Junior Project Manager/Design Manager at current workplace The candidate needs to be a People person and communicate with all types of people. Total work hours per week is 60 hours - 10 AM TO 8 PM will be required from Monday to Friday with half day on saturday. You should also know how to work with social media and computers. You should be proficient with MS Office Suite. There is a lot of room to grow in the future for the ideal candidate where the company will support the ideal candidate to learn many new skills and guide their career as they desire. About Us:

Agrawal Structural Consultants was formed with the vision of designing sustainable infrastructure and providing value to clients. The founder Gaurav has a vision of establishing a legacy and changing the country's footprint. You will be helping in the design and analysis of buildings made of concrete and steel and other materials as well. There will be minimal on-the-job training for said responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Works alongside Founder as Structural Engineer on building concrete and steel projects.

2) Develop the company's structural engineering guidelines and recommendations, criteria, excel sheets, and automation tools for younger engineers.

3) Be the point of contact for projects.

4) Teach younger engineers and mentor them.

5) Prepare cost estimates, and BOQs for bidding purposes.

6) Establish a proper team of engineers with responsibility of specific tasks.

7) Be a part of the company's R&D and sustainability initiatives.

Key Credentials:

1) A masters degree in Structural Engineering from IITs, or NITs is a must with 6 years of work experience preferred and at least 1 building project completed individually / as a part of the team from concept to As-built drawings submission.

2) Proven experience in design, analysis, repair projects, site visits, estimating, plan preparation, approximate methods, rules of thumb, and creating teams.

3) Expert Proficiency with ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, REVIT, BIM 360, BLUEBEAM, AUTOCAD, STAAD preferred.

4) Expert knowledge of Indian Standard Codes for RCC, Steel, Prestressed Concrete, Earthquake, and Wind loads and good knowledge of US Structural Code by ACI, AISC, ASCE, and IBC.

5) People with Municipal licenses especially MCGM will be given preference. Government project liaisoning experience required.

6) Candidates need to have expertise in FEM.

7) Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

8) Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

9) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams.

10)Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and pay attention to detail.

11)Active on LinkedIn and able to attend conferences and webinars.

12)Ability to face and solve challenges.

13)The candidate should be a self-starter and should be able to work with no supervision.

14)Local Mumbai candidates are preferred.
