Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager - Export Documentation

Role & responsibilities

Ensure proper documentation of export sales as per domestic and international guidelines.

Provide leadership and guidance to customer service, production, planning and logistics teams to ensure that customers receive their appropriate shipments within TAT.

Remain updated on various amendments in export policies and procedures. •

Explore cost efficient shipping solution providersfor safe and secure transport. •

Negotiate and monitor export rates and services to reduce operating costs and increase profitability. •

Respond promptly to customer complaints and look to find winning solutions & responsibilities.

• Ensuring consumer satisfaction by acting on complaints, analysing and taking corrective actions and continuous monitoring. •

Proactively identifying and addressing process gaps to achieve customer delight.

• Ensure logistic and dispatch planning as per sales orders. • Complete export procedures and documentation as per SOPs.

• Prepare Inspection Certificates as and when required. • Interactions with Government official from Customs, Inspection Agencies, DGFT. •

Co-ordination with related departments for on time delivery. • Co-ordination with CHA, Shipping lines, Freight forwarders. • Monitoring applications for Export incentive schemes. •

Payment processing of freight bills of forwarders. • BL approval for Export and Import shipments. • Co-ordination with clearing agent for timely clearance of cargo. •

Co-ordination with shipping line for less transit time, ETA & ETD. •

Co-ordination with plant for export shipments. • Negotiating freight rates for sea routes.
