Job Description
Job Purpose:
The individual will be a part of Accounting andBusiness Support team assisting clients in managing their accounting includingpreparation of MIS and other reports and various applicable compliancesincluding but not limited to Payroll including labour laws, tax withholding,Goods and Services tax, Corporate tax, Reserve bank of India and certificationsfor foreign remittances.
Role Responsibilities:
The incumbent shall be allocated 3-4 fullretainer clients along with 2-3 clients with selected jobs and will beresponsible for ensuring the agreed compliances for those clients. He/she shallwork closely with trainees on these jobs and a assistant manager/deputy managershall closely review his/her work. The responsibilities shall include but shallnot be limited to:
Ensuringcompliances of various clients as per defined role mainly accounting, payroll,tax withholding, GST, corporate tax, RBI etc.
Timelyraising of invoices on client and collection as per defined targets
Regularvisits on client place to give comfort to client on deliverables
Respondingand providing solutions on technical issues to clients on time
Regularupdation of to do management software for the allocated clients and discussionwith Deputy manager/Manager
Timelyescalation of any important matter of clients with seniors
Ensuringsystems and processes are being followed for the team
Buildingperformance score cards at the beginning of each year for yourself and ensuringmeeting targets as per score card
Knowledgedissemination to team members on technical topics through presentations anddiscussions
Workingknowledge of compliance related areas including accounting, accountingstandards, payroll processing, GST, direct taxes (upto filing of tax return),FEMA and RBI regulations and Corporate laws

-Should have analytical thought processes to understand and interpret legalprovisions of relevant laws.
-Average communication skills to provide a comfort to clients
-Motivated and ability to provide solutions
-Should have experience of working with both Indian and foreign clients
-Fully conversant with English language read, write and spoken
