Job Title: Sonar Platform Administrator

Summary: The Sonar Platform Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Sonar (CX Air Platform) Application, which runs on Windows Server hosted on a Virtual Machine in Azure Cloud. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the Sonar platform, as well as providing support and troubleshooting for any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, cloud infrastructure, and application support.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Sonar (CX Air Platform) Application, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
• System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and backups for the Sonar application.
• Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning measures to ensure optimal operation of the Sonar platform.
• Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the Sonar platform from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for any issues related to the Sonar platform, including user support and incident resolution.
• Cloud Management: Manage the Azure Cloud environment, including virtual machine provisioning, resource allocation, and cost management.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the Sonar platform configuration, processes, and procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the Sonar platform meets business requirements and integrates seamlessly with other systems.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Windows Server and cloud environments.

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
• Knowledge of Sonar (CX Air Platform) or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring and performance tuning tools.

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Cloud+, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience supporting CX Air Platform or similar Search and Data Visualization applications would be appreciated.

• Technical Skills:
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Knowledge of Apache Lucene
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Certifications: Additional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar.
