Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Tech Manager with expertise in data analytics to join our team at 7-Eleven Global Solutions Centre, India.

As part of our team, you will work on cutting-edge technology to build and maintain enterprise-level solutions for the global market.

You will contribute to the development of our data analytics layer and building cutting edge solutions around it.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and data analysts, fostering growth and ensuring high performance.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to meet data needs.

- Oversee data architecture and infrastructure to ensure efficient data processing and storage.

- Implement data governance policies and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.

- Evaluate and implement new data technologies and tools to improve data infrastructure.

Educational & Required Qualifications :

- Must have 8+ years in Azure cloud and databricks setup.

- Must have 4+ years' experience in spark framework based data pipeline development.

- 6+ years of experience in any relation database(Oracle/Postgres).

- 2+ years of experience in any NoSQL databases (Cassandra/MongoDB/DynamoDB).

- Must have good exposure in system design.

- 6+ years of experience in application analysis.

- 6+ years of experience in various cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Must have experience with Distributed Technologies like Kafka, Spark, Zookeeper.

- Experience in software development life cycle activities.

- Proficient in testing frameworks to design and integrate quality tests during development.

- Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines built with GitHub, Maven, and Jenkins, etc.

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

- Experience leading and mentoring team members to help grow to their full potential.

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate into technical requirements.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

- Familiarity with code versioning tools - Git (Gitlab).

- Exposure to retail industry, experience with e-commerce applications.

- Extensive experience running medium to large/complex projects with multiple dependencies, planning implementation and support of business application components, including change & release management.

- Advanced knowledge of RESTful Services, Middleware Technologies, and Database Design, including experience with both Relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)

- Demonstrated ability to analyse, propose and implement timely, cost effective, quality solutions for all applications within area of responsibility.

- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and lead technical discussions and drive solutions forward to achieve business needs.

- Strong experience facilitating issue intervention and driving improvements.

- Strong skills in risks identification, tracking and planned mitigation.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

- Working knowledge of Agile Framework.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
