About the Job :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead and scale our data engineering initiatives.

This role is ideal for professionals with a proven ability to build, mentor, and manage high-performing teams, and a strong background in designing and implementing complex data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.

- Design and implement complex data pipelines and architectures to ensure efficient data flow and processing.

- Oversee data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and ensure robust data modeling and governance.

- Utilize expertise in PLSQL, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts to support enterprise-wide data strategies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable data solutions and integrate data from diverse sources.

- Leverage big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark to process large-scale datasets effectively.

- Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to deploy, optimize, and maintain data solutions.

- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy best practices in all solutions and processes.

- Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery, resource optimization, and alignment with organizational objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Minimum 12+ years of experience in data engineering with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.

- Proven track record of building and managing high-performing data engineering teams.

- Proficiency in PLSQL and at least one programming language (e. Python, Java, or Scala).

- Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.

- Strong understanding of data security, privacy practices, and compliance requirements.

- Solid project management experience, with a history of successfully delivering complex projects.

Preferred Skills :

- Certification in cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
