Job Description: Technician - Diagnostic Centre (Kolkata)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage the Roche Cobas Pro Machine for diagnostic reporting.
• Conduct daily maintenance and calibration of the equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Release accurate and timely diagnostic reports based on machine output.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols for diagnostic testing.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and processing of patient samples.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of test results and machine performance logs.
• Collaborate with the laboratory team to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
• Address minor technical issues with the machine and escalate unresolved issues to the technical support team.
• Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic equipment and technologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:
• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) is mandatory.
• Experience:
• Prior experience in operating Roche diagnostic machines, specifically the Cobas Pro, is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and understanding lab processes.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for laboratory equipment.
• Other Requirements:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
