About the company:  Our client is an Indian rolling stock manufacturer . Established in 1984 as a rolling stock foundry unit, the company's headquarters are situated in Kolkata, West Bengal. Our client is publicly traded on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Must Have:   Should have min 1 years exp in Bulk hiring & Campus recruitment
Job Description:
  • Collaborating with hiring managers and department heads to understand the job specifications, responsibilities, and required qualifications for various non-IT roles.
  • Developing detailed job descriptions and specifications to attract the right candidates.
  • Utilizing various channels to source candidates, including job boards, career fairs, social media platforms, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
  • Building and maintaining a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
3. Screening and Shortlisting
  • Reviewing resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the job requirements.
  • Conducting initial screening calls to assess candidates' qualifications, work experience, and cultural fit.
4. Interviewing Candidates
  • Coordinating and conducting interviews (either alone or alongside hiring managers) to evaluate candidates.
  • Using behavioral and competency-based interview techniques to assess soft skills and job-related capabilities.
5. Managing the Hiring Process
  • Scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and ensuring smooth communication between candidates and the company.
  • Ensuring that all recruitment activities adhere to company policies and legal guidelines (e.g., non-discrimination, equal opportunity employment).
6. Extending Offers and Negotiations
  • Working with hiring managers to extend job offers, including salary negotiations, benefits, and start dates.
  • Addressing candidate questions and concerns about the offer and employment terms.
7. Onboarding Coordination
  • Assisting with the onboarding process by coordinating pre-employment checks, paperwork, and induction programs for new hires.
  • Ensuring that new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization.
8. Employer Branding
  • Promoting the company’s reputation as a great place to work to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Representing the company at job fairs and recruitment events.
9. Database and Candidate Management
  • Maintaining a database of potential candidates and keeping records of interviews, feedback, and candidate communication.
  • Tracking recruitment metrics, such as time to hire, cost per hire, and source of hire.
10. Compliance and Record-Keeping
  • Ensuring all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Keeping detailed records of the hiring process to ensure transparency and accountability.
11. Collaborating with HR and Department Heads
  • Working closely with Human Resources teams and department managers to align recruitment strategies with business needs and future growth.
  • Providing updates and reports on recruitment progress to HR and other stakeholders.
12. Market Research
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the job market.
  • Analysing labour market trends to predict hiring needs.
