- Reviewing architectural and engineering plans or blueprints to comprehend project specifications.
- Interpreting designs to precisely measure and cut materials.
- Utilizing tools like tape measures, saws, chisels, and power tools to cut and shape materials according to specifications.
- Constructing and installing frameworks for buildings, including floors, walls, and roofs.
- Creating temporary supports, such as scaffolding, to aid in construction.
- Installing windows, doors, cabinets, countertops, and other fixtures.
- Building staircases, railings, and furniture pieces as part of carpentry skills.
- Carrying out finishing tasks such as sanding, painting, staining, and varnishing wood or materials.
- Repairing damaged or worn-out wood structures and fixtures.
