About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our growing finance team.
- As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
- This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the annual budget process.
- Create and update financial forecasts based on business trends and projections.
- Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for cost control.
Accounting Operations:
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
Financial Controls and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and reports.
- Optimize working capital management.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Delegate tasks and provide guidance to team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's /master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
