Senior Engineer - Network Protocols (3-5 yrs)

Position : Senior Soft. Engg. Gurgaon

Experience: 3-5 yrs

Essential Education, Experience and Skills :

This role demands to demonstrate high degree of ownership, velocity and aptitude for independently leading technology projects and driving them from start. Driving the team on all technical aspects, interacting with client for all technical inputs and queries. Understanding the technical requirements and getting the team aligned with the same. Timely delivery on Projects and Initiatives.

Role Requirements :

- Strong fundamentals in Computer Science or Information Technology science and engineering.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, programming and troubleshooting skills.

- Hands on experience on Networking Products - Router, Switches, Gateways

- Very good understanding of Data structures, C.

- Very good understanding of SW Architecture and Design

- Very good understanding of embedded systems.

- Should have worked on embedded device development, preferably on linux based software development.

- Experience in OSI layers, TCP/IP protocols and socket programming.

- Should be conversant with principles of embedded software development like task/thread scheduling, synchronization mechanisms and inter task communication.

- Proficient in software development tools, debugging tools (GDB), source code control environment (Git, Jenkins).

- Experience in debugging production issues.

Secondary Skills :

- Expert in various Networking protocols across Layer 2, Layer 3.

- L2 (Ethernet, IEEE 802.1x std. STP, LLDP, RSTP, VLAN)

- L3 (Routing protocols).

- Industrial Protocols ( Ethernet IP, PROFINET, MODBUS )

- Active working experience in Broadcom fastpath, sdk, MacSec is preferable.

- Active working experience in Uboot, Linux internals, Linux bring-up, OpenWRT.
