Job Description
Job Title: Integration Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Engineer with expertise in MuleSoft and Camel frameworks, along with the ability to build containerized applications on AWS using Java. As an Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions that connect various systems and applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft and Camel frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Build and configure integration flows using MuleSoft/Camel, APIs, and connectors to enable seamless data exchange between systems.
Develop custom components, transformers, and adapters to meet specific integration needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration processes, ensuring high system availability and performance.
Containerise applications using Docker and deploy them on AWS ECS or EKS.
Utilise AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda to build scalable and reliable applications.
Build pipelines to automate deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in integration technologies, AWS services, and containerisation techniques.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Integration Engineer, preferably with expertise in MuleSoft and Camel frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Java programming language and experience with building Java-based applications.
Proficiency in designing and implementing integration solutions using MuleSoft Any point Platform or Apache Camel.
Familiarity with AWS services and experience in deploying containerised applications on AWS ECS or EKS.
Solid understanding of containerisation concepts and hands-on experience with Docker.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect certification.
Experience with other integration platforms such as Apache Kafka.
Knowledge of micro services architecture and RESTful API design principles.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
