Interview Preparation Tips
Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Negatives:-
1) Confirm exact JD & Position for which opportunity is?
2) Punctuality issues with HR & management. They are busy all day and still conduct F2F interviews at office. I had to wait for couple of hours for the Interview.
3)HR is always busy and never clarifies things. Clarify your expectations before going to interview. I came to know after interview that they were offering less than what my current compensation was.
4) CFO didnt allow to question on current situation of company or future aspects.
Positive:
1) CEO was quite straight forward and was asking sensible question.
2) He was humble enough to ask how I will reach home since it was too late in the evening.

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw
I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
