Events in SAP ABAP reports are predefined points in the program where specific actions can be triggered.

Events are used to control the flow of execution in a report program.
There are four types of events in SAP ABAP reports: initialization, start-of-selection, end-of-selection, and top-of-page.
Initialization event is used to initialize variables and perform other setup tasks.
Start-of-selection event is triggered when the report is executed and is used to fetch data from the database.
End-of-selection event is triggered after the data has been fetched and is used to process the fetched data.
Top-of-page event is used to display headers and other formatting elements at the top of each page of the report.
Events can be defined using the EVENTS keyword followed by the event name.
Example: EVENTS initialization, start-of-selection, end-of-selection, top-of-page.
Each event can have its own event block where specific actions can be written.
Example: AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.
Events can also be triggered explicitly using the CALL EVENT statement.

END-OF-SELECTION. Generally used in the logical database. But in normal reporting triggers after start-of-selection. and is the last event triggered before displaying the report.
AT USER-COMMAND. when user presses button in the list. then this event is triggered
AT LINE-SELECTION. when double clicked on the list.
TOP-OF-PAGE. when first write statement is triggered in the program.
END-OF-PAGE. triggered at the end of the page.
