DHCP is a network protocol that dynamically assigns IP addresses to devices on a network. APIPA is a feature in Windows that assigns a default IP address when DHCP fails. EIGRP is a routing protocol used in networking.

DHCP stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
DHCP server assigns IP addresses to devices on a network dynamically
APIPA (Automatic Private IP Addressing) assigns a default IP address in the range of 169.254.0.1 to 169.254.255.254 when DHCP server is not available
EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) is a Cisco proprietary routing protocol used for routing decisions in a network

EIGRP - Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol is a dynamic routing protocol that used to find the best path between two layer 3 devices to deliver packets It works on network layer protocol of OSI model  and uses protocol number 88. It uses metrics to find out the best path between two layer 3 devices operating EIGRP.  Administrative Distance for EIGRP are:-
EIGRP routes             AD Values
Internal Routes              90
External Routes            170

It uses some mssages to communicate with the neighbour devices that operate EIGRP

4. When DHCP process fails APIPA assigns the address to the Requested host. Automatic Private IP Addressing range is 169.254.0.0 to 169.254.255.255 if this occures and APIPA is enabled the client comptuer selects an IP address from a range 169.254.0.0 to 169.254.255.255 and authometically assigns that address to itself.

This DORA process is auto IP assignment process is also known as DHCP that is Dynamically assign Internet Protocol addresses to each host on your Organization. DHCP servers have a UDP port number of 67, so listen for messages addressed to this port number. On the other hand, DHCP clients have UDP port number 68 and only respond to messages sent to number 68.
