I believe corporate culture is important for the success of a company. I didn't apply for any IJP because I wanted to gain more experience in my current role. The reason for not getting through could be due to a lack of specific skills or qualifications.

We have to be very careful when they ask you this question. It can be about the corporate culture or about the people and their hierarchy and the management. So, this was the first time the interviewer asked me this question. And What I did was didn't know that the answer what I gave will have some serious consequences. Here is my answer  - I started off with Yes, I did apply for the IJP however I was unable to crack the interview. Because, there was a better performer than me and his presentation was amazing and it had content and it was a good project and the way he presented was brilliant and he knew what he was doing and he was confident and he was clear enough to answer all questions asked. He was okay with the answer what I gave and he wanted to hear more from me And the main thing which we need to avoid is - which I didn't know since it's the first time I'm talking about corporate so check this out and be very careful about it. Again I started talking about it and he asked me what do you think is the main reason for not selecting you. I told very genuinely whatever I've seen for the last 7 years of corporate life it's more of politics and they will give 1st preference to the tenured employees and if they don't like us they will have some unwanted reason to reject us and if you are in good terms with the manager and if you have any support from the management they will push further and if it has to be a good looking women then she is selected without even asking the relevant questions and if you are a person who doesn't stay after your shift timings then they will bring that up just to portray that and if you don't co- operate with the manager or management they will corner you for not backing up them for their mistakes. This is what I told about corporate and I didn't clear the final round. I knew very well that I did very good on the previous rounds and there should be some reason for not selecting me. So I asked the HR what was the reason. The HR told me that I was almost cleared every bit of the interview and towards the end I messed it up by talking about the corporate. I told them see this was the first time I'm coming across this question and I spoke what I've been through and what I've seen over the years. So, I told the truth about corporate and I got rejected. The interviewer got offended because I didn't not talk about the company I spoke about corporate which is not at acceptable and even if I leave this organization I will talk about the same thing whatever I spoke about corporate. Then I realised what to talk about corporate and what not. Hopefully this helps someone who didn't know about what to talk when they ask about corporate. I'm sure you will talk what is required. Also, please don't ever talk bad about your previous organization and be very calm and answer the relevant questions and please take some time to understand the question and think of the best and suitable answer to crack all the interview.
