Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Four round of Interview.
1. Technical +Managerial : half hour
2. Technical : one and half hour
3. VC call of Half hour
4. Project head discussion of half hour
First two on day one , the other two rounds in next two days.
I was interviewed on 21st Sept 19 at Noida sec 62.
I must tell this company is pathetic .Few projects they have and job stability is too poor it seems.
Before going for the interview i had told them about my Notice period,As I was on bench in current company i told them i could possibly join early but did not committed. HR name: Rashmi Phatak. I was also told about long term opportunity for Malaysia.
Day 1:-
I went for the interview they did not have any of AC working. In round one i was asked about Agile methodology, DB,joining time, java basics with micro services.
Round to went for one and half hour and questions on Web services, threads,Micro services, data structures,DB,hibernate, junit, core java with typical questions. As AC was not working i almost fainted after one and half hour , so they offered me water and some chips[ now i think i should pay them back for it].

Next day they called me for VC round , at went to their office and I was asked about Microservices,DB,Angular, cloud AWS.
The same day i got the mail telling - i have cleared the interview process and asked for my expected package and joining time, which i had told them almost five to six times.
Next day i got a call telling there will be one more round with project head for half hour. It happened on 27th or 28th Sept 19.
In this round i was asked about my appraisal, strengths, weakness, basic questions on micro service and team handling. And obviously my ECTC and joining time.To which i said negotiable.

Next day i got a call negotiating the package. I agreed to what they were offering , a hike of 28%[ Their mail which was sent form Naukari.com initially mentions upto 70%].
It was on 3rd October 2019. Rashmi pathak told me that she is waiting for approval and will get back next week. I waited patiently and dropped a mail. She did not replied to it and was keeping it all verbal [call records could prove it].
I called her on Monday 7th - she said she is not well and will get back to me after two days. Meanwhile i was getting an opportunity in my current company to which i declined so that i could join early in their company.I called her on 10th October 2019 i.e Thursday : She said " We will surely get something by Friday". No response on Friday. I dropped a mail on Saturday and called on Monday, Madam said:- " wait till 12 noon". As i was getting calls for project , i called her at 2:00 PM, she said wait till evening. From weeks to days to morning and evening[This morning evening game went till three four days]. Above that she was asking me same question again and again how soon you can join , it looks they were expecting some one else to join early[ I did not have any issues with it but they put me in dark light]. No issues , i called her next day as she said i.e Tuesday : she said :- " She got the approval and i will get the offer letter , but Project head want to have VC with me on zoom call- just a discussion about the project". I said ok, downloaded the app and had a discussion.

No one joined the call on time in half hour discussion and in last ten minutes only one person joined[Two were speaking , one was project head].
Ten minutes of discussion : Nothing about the project , just the same crap of agile and team handling, DB,Micro services. I answered all questions.
I had also taken interviews and i was very sure it went good.

Now i did not got my offer letter in next hour as she said. I called and aksed if she could give me clear picture. She said to call after half hour.
I called after two hours, she said :- "ten minutes". Then she called me by mistake and said :- " just a second , i will call back".days to minutes and seconds.
Its me who have the patience.

I called after two hours. She said , she is going for a meeting to decide.
I called and asked for my offer status after to hours. She replied: " Project head is not convinced with you at the end".
I lost my cool and told everything that is written here. It was like they spitted on my face. When i asked why you did not rejected me earlier and rejected me in 10 minutes round , is there any solid reason. They were as if they will create one. I tell you the reason : - " THEY were waiting for someone else to join that is why they were asking about joining time again and again and were putting me in backup".
Obviously they have other important meetings too but if they should give the clarity on time instead of playing around and considering people who come for interview as fools.

I must say and advice :-

This was a very bad experience for me.

I am mentally harassed, even a CTC of 50 LPA will not earn any respect from me and i am sure the ship is not going to sail for long this way.
What kind of behavior they have with client and employees , god knows. If they are like that initially.
fake interviews it seems they conduct . I will not recommend this company to any of my friends or colleagues.
This is not a stable company for experienced as they have few Accounts[ one or two it seems]
Totally un professional behavior. As i had switched jobs earlier . No HR department behaved like this, they were very helpful and did not betrayed.
Not a big brand and will not be able to make up also.
No values it seems.
Wastage of time and effort
un reasonable. If they would have rejected me in second or thrird or even fourth round initially i would have respected them.
Don't know if their is any exploitation of employees who join them.

if you could join in fifteen days , else don't waste your time. After this review they might change for some time and then get back to square one.
thinks others are foolish people

Take it as my feedback for your interview process
