I will understand the reasons for the poor performance of any individual. Is it because of lack of Knowledge or/and skill or it is attitude ?. Knowledge can be imparted by me and skill can be developed over a period through on job training. If the problem with the attitude, clear targets will be given in writing and commitment will be taken accordingly. If he is changing and making sincere efforts, K/S will be given, if required, else need to send him out to bring the team discipline.
