I: Let us keep on assigning numbers as well and explain your reasoning. You are free to make any assumptions.

C: I would start with the Indian population and divide into urban and rural. I would like to discard rural area since the sales there would be much lesser.

I: Good, go ahead,

C: I would like to calculate the number of urban households and then further divide them into income segments, focused only on the upper-middle and high-income segment. I will assume X percentage for both the segments for households which would buy an air purifier.

I: Abhishek can you give me some more factors for this percentage?

C: Yeah, give me a minute.

I: Sure, take your time.

C: The 2 factors would be - tier 1 and 2 cities for income and level of pollution in them. (I assigned percentages for both income segments by making a 2 by 2 matrix and came up with a final percentage for both.)

I: That is fine. Give me a final figure.

C: (Did the calculations and gave a final figure.)
