If you are from IIT /NITS/ good premier institution, then they don't see your knowledge, they hiddenly see how much you are capable of conducting international conferences, aicte projects,grants , as mainly HoD want their personal profile to be upgraded via you and will throw you after the purpose is met within 1 to 2 years.) From 2018, They now preferring to recruit people with good research papers/grants because the KIET-Hod/professors/associate professors with more than 8 years kiet experience don't have good research profile and degrees,so to show count in NBA and NAAC ACCREDATION ,THEY Are forced to recruit external persons with good readymade research profile). It's not your teaching capabilities they are judging,it's your capabilty of producing count of research paper for NBA/NAAC/NIRF so that HoD can maintain their job security and can show to management that his department is best).
