More often than not, especially in modern React development, they are functional components because of their simplicity and alignment with the concept of separating UI from logic, functional components are stateless components but with the help of hooks they can manage logical thing better . Basically presentation components are the components they can only present the ui part and functional are the components they can manage some function or logical part.
