Cable continuity can be checked using a multimeter to measure resistance and ensure that there is a continuous path for electrical current.

Use a multimeter set to the resistance mode
Connect one probe to one end of the cable and the other probe to the other end
If the multimeter shows a low resistance reading (close to zero), it indicates good continuity
If the multimeter shows a high resistance reading (infinite or very high value), it indicates a break or open circuit in the cable
Check for any loose or disconnected connections that may affect continuity
Ensure that the cable is not damaged or cut in any way
Perform a visual inspection of the cable for any signs of wear or damage
If necessary, use a cable tester or toner to further verify continuity
