Addition with carry is a process of adding two or more numbers while carrying over the excess value to the next column.
Start adding the numbers from the rightmost column
If the sum is greater than 9, carry over the excess value to the next column
Continue adding the numbers column-wise until all columns are added
Example: 345 + 267 = 612, where 5+7=12, carry over 1 to the next column and add 4+6+1=11 in the next column
Subtraction with two digit numbers involves borrowing and regrouping.
Start from the ones place and subtract the digits, borrow if necessary
Then move to the tens place and subtract the digits, borrow if necessary
Check your answer by adding the difference to the subtrahend to get the minuend
