I was nervous for this too !! It was also the first interview that i gave, but the interviewer was really good. The first question he asked was how are you, how you are feeling, I told him that i m literally nervous and not confident enough as it was my first GD and this is my first interview, but he said you cleared the GD so give yourself an applause. I felt good for that and then I was natural or say normal, my heartbeat slowed down, i didn't feared and gave my interview with honesty, the interviewer was very nice, supportive, and soft spoken throughout the interview. He asked mostly from the resume in detail. Here, please note that, whatever you write on your resume, make sure you know about that and able to answer all of it. Make them familiar with your skills and what you are good at. The questions i was asked were- 1. Briefly tell me about yourself. 2. Your hobbies and some questions about same. 3. Projects you have done. 4. Ms excel formulas. 5. How you are suitable to this job and how we will be benefitted by hiring you. 6. How you will manage with night shifts (as it was a night shift job). 7. What will be the reason if you switch. 8. Do you have any questions for me. And at last, he told me that i m good at communication and he liked my attitude and that i answered all questions upfrontly. Although i knew i wasn't that good because it was first and i didn't knew much. I wasn't selected for the next round but i was happy that i tried and learned something which definitely will be helpful for my next. But, thanks to that interviewer for being so nice, it helped me to be myself, to know myself and to understand where i need improvements. It was a great experience. So here, note this, be natural and listen to their questions properly and see your answers, and if you don't get selected, its okay, learn from that. Focus on making yourself better by knowing your strong and weak points. And yes, confidence doesn't come overnight or in a day, it takes time for some people and i am also one of those, i am not confident enough even today but it's okay, i am learning and that's important. Be yourself, learn from everything. All the best.
