Plant is determined based on the shipping point assigned to the sales organization and distribution channel.
The shipping point is determined based on the storage location assigned to the delivering plant in the material master data.
If the storage location is not maintained in the material master data, the plant is determined based on the storage location assigned to the delivering plant in the customer master data.
If neither the storage location in the material master data nor the customer master data is maintained, the plant is determined based on the default plant assigned to the sales organization and distribution channel.
