Even i am in shared tech support project, i am always follow the escalation matrix or SPOC person and supports and encourage the domain engineers to get the work done with in SLA

Of course every job will have its own various challenges likewise even covid is one such challenge. For us it didn't have much impact as we were mostly working from home for more than half of the time in a whole year.  We will have regular sync ups in need basis and everyone in the team are very cooperative hence no hiccups till date.. But I have heard few had issues initially to adjust to this new normal of doing wfh but I did help them in settling thier issues via personal counselling.
