In these tough times, Showroom Walk ins have come down drastically and outside events / Melas are also proving to be useless. On the other hand our Workshop Service Load is good. Now we need to tap the Service customers who have reported to Workshop for Regular service.  Lets select cars above 5 yrs old which would be 60% of the total load. Now evaluate such cars, give a quote for new car minus the cost of old car, give the EMI for the balance amount and say down payment is zero. Final comment to Customer: "If interested, you need not pay the service bill". Interestingly the service bill for a 5+ yr old car will be equal to 2 or 3 EMI's. This will tempt the customer to leave his car at the Dealership and go for a new one.
