Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The test consisted of 60 aptitude questions. They were divided into numerical, logical reasoning and English. Each of them having 20 questions.Basically those questions were easy to solve. You have to have enough practice to solve those in the required amount of time.I was able to solve 50 of them and since it had no negative marking I guessed the remaining.Overall the first round of test was not that tough!
The technical round was conducted immediately after the aptitude. It had 20 questions ranging from digital electronics, basics of CMOS and few network analysis problems.Overall it was not that hard.If you are good at the basics you can easily solve most of the questions.I was able to solve more than 15 questions. And of course no negative marking here too.overall it was a good experience.
Tips: 1.In first round numerical aptitude takes time to solve. So better solve them at last.
2.Technical test has more than enough time,so accuracy is the key here.
Duration: 60+45 minutes
Total Questions: 60+20

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Well the interviewer was a very young guy.He tried helping me when I was stuck here and there. It lasted for about 60 mins and I was able to answer almost all of the questions.I was very satisfied with this round and was confident that I would be giving the next round of interview.
Tips: Just be confident and try to take your own time while explaining.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: This round heavily focussed on CMOS circuits and its basics.I was well prepared for CMOS and so I was ready to face any questions.Overall I answered all of them and Of course I was given snacks in between :).I was very happy with my performance and I knew that this was my day. This round was about 60-70 mins duration.
Tips: Again just be confident and feel free to take help from the interviewers.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Well it was a really good experience.I knew that this was my day and I just had to answer to the point and just talk anything that came
to my mind.I was really happy when they told me that I was selected. This round was about 30 mins duration.
Tips: It is just for a formality. All you have to do is show that you are passionate about the company and the profession!

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: Aptitude Test : 10 Minutes
Quantitative : 15 Minutes
Reasoning / Analytical : 25 Minutes
Technical : 30 Minutes

First Aptitude + Quant + Analyatical [G-SAT (Global Samsung Aptitude test)] test was there. It was for 50 min. It was simple. Analytical questions were time taking. But If u have practiced such questions already then it won't be any problem. Apti questions were so simple that anyone can do.
Overall, a simple test

From this they shortlisted around 26 members. About Technical test. it was 30 questions -- 30 minutes.. It was simple C, Data Structures & some OS questions. After that, they shortlisted 11 names.
Duration: 80 minutes

Round: HR Interview
Experience: For us, there was no elimination from HR round.
For me, interview was about 25-20 mins. It was cool.

At the end, he told me that for technical I should prepare C++ well. It will be helpful for me.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: This time Technical panel did not come to campus because of some problem. Only HR manager was there. So he said that he will take HR interview first & technical test & technical interview will happen later on.
After nearly 1 month,Technical process happened in Hyderabad at a 5 star hotel.
First, they took technical written test [Details about it are mentioned above]. After that,11 candidates they shortlisted. 5 MTechs & 6 BTechs. One person was taking interview for 2 persons at a time on different tables. He gave some work to one person & later he went to the other person to ask questions.
For me, Interview was only for 20-25 mins..

General Tips: It was nice experience, but the process was very lengthy as ppt, written & HR happened in one day & after 1 month technical test & technical interview happened. And Again for results we waited for 1 more day. But still, "The Wait was Worth it!!!" :)
All panel members were nice and cooperative. Overall it was a great experience as I got a dream company & that too Research & Development job :)

Prepare well for campus placements from initially only. Concentrate on Aptitude [R S Agrawal] & all ur core subjects [For CS: C, C++, DS, OS, Networking, DBMS(For some companies) & if u know Java..that will be nice]. Go through "Cracktheinterview pdf" for programming questions. it is very helpful. In the interview, Stay Cool. Don't be tense. They want to see your confidence & attitude along with your Technical Skills.
