Your seniors at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal were your true well-wishers, they shared their placement interview questions for you. 🙏
Round: Test Experience: It was a test of time management, speed and accuracy. There were three sections 1.Manipulation of matrices 15 question (No negative marks,3 parts in this section) 2.Number sequences 20 questions (with negative marking . very simple, try to practice more questions and do at-least 12-15 Q) 3. Quant 12 questions (with negative marks, try to read question and solve them without pen) I had written the same paper (model) for IBM internship, but fared very badly in that, so was cautious this time.
Round: Group Discussion Experience: There were 12 in our batch. They asked us to introduce ourselves. Suddenly they said lets us hear each person's opinion separately and start the discussion. I was the last person to share my views. Everyone said that education is necessary and supported.. i got points on both the sides (supporting and opposing), so as every body spoke for it, i spoke against the topic. Tips: Do not use paper to write points in GD. Duration: 25 minutes
Round: Technical Interview Experience: No much technical was asked. They asked questions like- 1.Tell me about yourself. 2. I had said that i was interested in coding, and they asked an example, i explained it confidently.. this was the only tough program i attempted on my own,so I explained the algorithm. 3. He asked about my family details and my experience in NITW.
Round: HR Interview Experience: The examiner started looking at my paper and said you attempt things which you don't know.. i said i attempted 12/20 in number seq and 11/12 in quant and i am confident that i have answered 10 correct in quant.. Then he said ok, I think he was convinced.. He then asked me about my strengths and weaknesses.. He also gave a chance to ask questions.
General Tips: It is totally a cool and lengthy process, be patient and confident.. I strongly feel if you have good communication skills you can easily crack interview, but practice a lot of num. seq, quant, speed calc.. College Name: NIT WARANGAL
Round: Test Experience: The written test consisted of three sections and all were of different time duration like 1st section consisted of 15 questions on matrices. There was no negative marking.(13 min) 2nd section consisted of 20 questions on number series. It had negative marking.(4 min) 3rd section consisted of 12 questions on aptitude. It also had negative marking.(15 min) Duration: 32 minutes Total Questions: 47
Round: Group Discussion Experience: The group discussion process was much regulated. Everyone gets a chance to speak. The topics was simple. Before the GD started we were instructed that everyone would get 30 sec to tell their opinion on the topic and 1-2 minutes time to conclude the topic at the end. Tips: So one can get through GD round if he/she starts and concludes the topic well even if he/she didn't speak a single word during GD. So be confident while speaking. Duration: 20 minutes
Round: Technical Interview Experience: In the technical interview first they asked basic of C and C++. Like what's the difference between C and C++, what is Inheritance, Data Encapsulation, Polymorphism, explain the concept of stacks, queues, linked lists. After this i was asked to choose any one topic from my favorite subject and explain it. After that i was asked more questions from electronics.
Round: HR Interview Experience: Tell me about yourself. What are your Hobbies. How was the PPT. What did u like the most in the PPT. What was the worst. Why CGPA is low. why IBM. what locations would i prefer.,etc. Tips: GD and interviews are just to test your basics, communication skills, confidence level.
General Tips: Just know the Basics of C, C++ and have one strong subject. Then its easy to crack the interview and get the job. ALL THE BEST FOR JUNIORS. College Name: NIT WARANGAL
Round: Test Experience: Basically they tested all my computer fundamentals like Operating systems, comp architecture, algorithms and lot more. Also there was a separate paper for the quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Round: Technical Interview Experience: It was a good experience and I have to say that interview was too enlightening. Tips: Every aspect of computer science was touched. So you must know each.

Round: Test Tips: You should have complete knowledge about Data structure, c/c++/ Java , OS , DBMS, then only there's a chance that you can clear the test.
Round: Technical Interview Experience: Was just asked about data structure applications only. My experience was bit easy and pleasant.
Round: Test Experience: In aptitude test they gave questions on number series. In Quantitative test questions are some word problems Data matrices are given in Reasoning. Technical questions are mainly based on C,C++ and data structures. This experience was great. Initially I was tensed but the panel members made me feel easy & comfortable. I myself found the test very easy. I was the topper of the test.
Round: Interview Tips: Finding the tree given pre order and in order traversal. Program to reverse a linked list. Effect of fork on addresses. Which algorithm you'll prefer to reduce the number of multiplication of matrix multiplication. Questions like these were asked so be prepared with all of them.

Round: Test Experience: Questions in the section were divided into 3 subsections one was data interpretation, another was number series and the third was quantitative. The level of the questions in the three sections was not very high but time constraint was there. The technical questions were also very common and time was also enough in this section. So overall my experience was exemplary.
Round: Technical Interview Experience: In the interview I was asked questions related to object oriented programming and web based technologies. All questions were tested to check the basic fundamentals of you related to the subject.
Round: HR Interview Experience: In the HR interview first i was asked some technical questions relating to my favourite subject.
