Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: 1st we were given general aptitude questions were easy with small logic and some simple mathematical calculations
but 75 in 30min........ go exam with huge confidence .
Duration: 60 minutes

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: After test GD then shortlisted to interview, just try to involve in Gd at least 5 to 6 times .

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: I was asked... to draw otto , diesel cycle n compare them.... draw rankine cycle... derive critical insulation.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: I was asked tell about yourself...... about parents n their profile..

General Tips: Just answer confidently... prepare for apti... ALL THE BEST !!!!!

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: Paper-1There was 75 Question in which consist of aptitude,Verbal English, Jumbling problem, very simple analytical problem.Paper-2There was 60 Question most of them was memory based very simple & basic Question.
Duration: 60 minutes

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: I opened the GD...............by giving brief idea about the topic & participated throughout the GD.
Duration: 20 minutes

General Tips: Dear juniors no need to be panic......................they were seeking for basics not for..............??? Only there is bit of time management required.In apti...whether it is technical or non-technical. there was no negative marking. Although the selection process is very simple for normal candidate but try to manage things as well as it is possible for u.

Experience: Apti consist of very simple English and Geometry Questions .
Duration: 60 minutes

Round: Group Discussion
Duration: 15 minutes

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Technical Interview was easiest among all the Compaines I faced . It consist of basic questions like Carnot Cycle , 2nd Law of Thermodynamics , Modified Ranking Cycle etc .

Round: HR Interview
Experience: They asked about myself and why i wanted to join Adani Power .

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: Aptitude was dead easy. It contained some sequences ,quant ,verbal ,antonymns all added to 70 questions to be completed in 29 min. more than sufficient. Technical test contained most of the questions in 70 from INSTRUMENTATION and 2 or 3 on control systems. eg. on temperature( RTD , thermocouple ), force sensing devicesetc .
Duration: 60 minutes

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: I have raised some points.It was average.But not many are eliminated from GD.So I think they just wanted tocheck the ability to express your view in a group.
Duration: 15 minutes

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Both technical and hr are done simultaneously. I was asked my family details and my view to work at Mundra. He asked my current semester subjects and so posed some basic questions on them (OFC and OR). Also some basic questions on control systems

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: Aptitude test was quite easy . In technical written test questions were asked from all the facets of civil engineering . Questions were from project management and environmental engineering mainly.We had to do 75 questions in 30 mins in both technical and aptitude written test.
Duration: 60 minutes

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: I presented well my point of view with proper logic. I guess it was my day....I got selected....12 out of 16 selectedin written test were shortlisted for interview.
Duration: 10 minutes

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Questions were asked from project work.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Question was asked to tell me about myself, family and where do I see myself 5 yrs from now.

General Tips: Dont miss the ppt of this company.....and give ur best....BEST OF LUCK

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The aptitude mainly had maths question based on unitary method....Study of R.S Aggarwal is enough...It also had afew puzzles and english questions like sentence correction and grammatical error type . The technical test was completely based on instrumentation. A little in depth knowledge is a must for clearing the test. Ak Sawhney is the best for review in instrumentation
Duration: 60 minutes

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: In GD it is always important to start first...moreover through the entire discussion try to head the group...like allowing everyone to give their opinion and in the end draw some net conclusion.
Duration: 15 minutes

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: The technical interview was taken by an operations manager...in the interview he asked about my industrialtraining... I had done my training in scada system which helped me a lot throughout the interview...he was looking for more industrial knowledge rather than text book definitions....a few questions on microprocessors were also asked

General Tips: Industrial training was my ace card....u should know what u have done thoroughly...knowledge on a few latest technologies in industry also helps....my advice is dont just stick to the textbooks...good communication skills are also must .
