Round: Technical Interview Experience: I was asked to solve a case using Data Structures & Algorithms and was asked about its complexity, functioning etc.,
Tips: Be as cool as possible. Interviewer gives ample amount of time to solve the question. Don't try to solve the problem early try to explore the given case and interviewer will help you to the solution.
Round: HR Interview Experience: Went well and interviewer was impressed when I was answering questions. Tips: Take a few seconds time and try to answer the questions. Dont hurry up. Try to expressive & speak in your own words rather than some prepared text.

Round: Test Experience: This was an one hour test comprising 50 MCQ questions. All questions carried 1 mark each and there were no Negative markings. It was conducted on morning of the day of the interview. The cut-off marks was around 25-30. The questions tested concepts in C, Data Structures and Operating Systems, Quantitative Analysis, Logical Reasoning, Basic Electronics and English. Duration: 60 minutes Total Questions: 50
Round: Technical Interview Experience: The interview lasted for 20-30 mins. The panel consisted of 1 interviewer per candidate. There were around 5 such panels. In-depth knowledge of C,Data Structures and Operating Systems is necessary. Questions from Computer Networking were asked. These questions were basic in nature and did not require much knowledge. Puzzles were also given to be solved. Good quantitative skills will help. The interviewer will be more interested in the approach of the candidate in solving the problem than the final solution.
Round: HR Interview Experience: This interview lasted for around 10-15 mins. The panel, again, consisted of 1 interviewer per candidate. There was just 1 such panel. They interviewer asked questions about the specialization I’m pursuing from IIT Kgp, the courses I’ve opted for and how I think they are related to my specialization. I was asked questions about the other companies whose placement processes I’ve appeared for. There were questions like why I wanted to join Cisco and what kind of work I am interested in doing there.
General Tips: Unless the company is a core company for the student, the projects usually do not matter much - they simply see whether the candidate can explain his/her work and not the magnitude of work done. Positive Body language during the interview and confident interaction helps. Skill Tips: An in-depth knowledge of C and Data Structures,with adequate knowledge of Operating Systems. Round: Technical Interview Experience: 1 or 2 interviews based on how your first interview goes. Each and every point on your CV is questioned. Networking is important. Tips: 1) Accept boldly if you do not know anything 2) Be confident when you are answering 3) Ask them questions once again if you do not understand 4) Ask time, if you feel you need more time to regroup things.
General Tips: Communication skills and enthusiasm towards work is necessary. Give them the impression that you feel confident when you look at yourself and your profile. Round: Test Experience: 40 people were short-listed on the basis of this test. Objective type test. Main topics were C coding, operating systems, data structures, quantitative skills and networking. They’ll ask you about your strength and then ask you questions based on that. Again knowledge of computer networks, operating systems, algorithms and data structures will be handy in the 1st round . They asked me questions on the working of a network from the user to switch to router, about ARP and MAC address tables,about IP addresses and subnets.Then there was a question on binary search trees and a few questions on operating systems as well. In the 2nd round, they asked me a question on memory management. Gave me 5 mins to come up with an answer. Knowledge of data structures and Operating Systems is needed and maybe a bit of algorithms. Duration: 60 minutes
Round: Technical Interview Experience: 30 min interview. I had 2 techincal interviews; the second was of 5 mins. Tips: Don’t give up on a question easily. Keep trying. Interviewers judge you on your thought process and if you give up easily then it causes a negative impact.
Round: HR Interview Experience: This round is held if they want to take you in. You will be asked if you have any problem in relocating. They discuss the job profile and ask if you would prefer working alone or in a team.
General Tips: OS, CCN and data Structures should be read thoroughly not just for this company..most of the software/IT oriented companies ask questions pertaining to these topics. Skill Tips: Selection is based purely on the interview. There is a written test which you have to clear first though. Absolutely no emphasis on cgpa. It’ll neither be an advantage nor a disadvantage. They’ll take you if you perform well in the interview. Knowledge of C/C++ is sufficient. My projects were related to computer networks so that was an advantage but they dont decide on basis of project. They’ll ask a few questions about the projects as all companies do. Round: Interview Experience: They started their questions with my Projects and Internships, which I explained to them. They asked about my favourite subject. My answer was Computer Networks and Algorithms. Then they asked about the OSI Layers, and then about Ethernet and LLC.He then moved to OS Questions, Interrupts, etc. Then Binary search trees, difference between bst and binary tree and then about B+ trees, AVL trees. Finally, I was asked to write a simple C-code - a program to find the last 5th node in a linked list in one traversal.
Round: Interview Experience: Asked me to write a simple C code and discussed a few questions from the Written test.
