Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: It was a market entry case study which you had to analyze using a combination of guesstimates and market research. Interview shortlists were based on it. A fairly easy to the point case study, the company basically looks for your approach in tackling this particular case study.
Tips: Be good and through with guesstimates, answer to the point and conduct extensive internet based research on the case study problem.
Total Questions: ~4 hours

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: The interview was mainly based on my case study answers and CV. A lot of questions were asked about my interests in Finance as CV consisted of finance internships, courses and certifications. Only 1 interview was conducted for a duration of approximately 1 hour.
Tips: Make sure you are thorough with the case study you submitted. Practice HR questions. Keep your calm during the interview as it is a very long one (1 hour approx).

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: 10 members were part of GD.
We were warned in between that they wanted it to be a discussion and not a debate.they also warned us against interrupting others while they were speaking . one person was rejected and the reason was for speaking too fast during the GD.

Experience: A single round of interview was conducted with a combined Technical and HR.
In Technical Round
A case study was given on the previous night and the interview was mostly about that.
The case study was very similar to the assigments in biomedical device innovation
Questions were asked in HR

2.Why should we hire you?
3.How long are you going to stay in this company?

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: Resume wasn't taken before short listing

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: No written test. Resume wasn't taken before short listing. GD was the only qualifier. Had general topics like Corruption in India and the like.
Tips: Short listing criteria - a presence in the GD -people who spoke a lot were shortlisted.

Round: Interview
Experience: The candidates were given an analytical problem in Biotechnology and asked to solve it overnight - the interview was based on this.

General Tips: Required overall common subject knowledge. Prepare for tests and interviews. Tell them how the BT projects you have worked on have taught you something related to that profile.

Experience: New ideas and valid points.Starting and conclusion of the topic will be added advantage : all basic GD thingsThey look for smart people who can come up with an idea and frame it properly in words.Additional to this, there might be a case study.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The interview was for a duration of 25 minutes.Questions will be on the case study, and mostly whether you really will join the company.
Tips: Having good presence of mind and strong aptitude should do it.

General Tips: Read the profile of the company very well. Questions will most likely pertain to it.Know about the company you are sitting for. Get to know beforehand what they are looking for and then sell yourself in that way. It‟s all about marketing yourself by projecting your good points with respect to their requirements.
