Favoritism, caste politics, there are no consequences for bad behaviour, lack of professionalism and gossip is encouraged. It is extremely demoralizing to see incompetent people who are impolite being pampered over those who work sincerely for the company.

While there are numerous benefits, it’s not a place for people that expect rapid career growth. From my personal experience, I didn’t have a good mentorship during the initial stages of my career. Lack of hierarchy/process can cause problems in some areas.

Won't have flexible work hours for a support role and am bound to work within your timings. Hard to avail of off on some days whether you have your CL/SL. The skills and learning set becomes saturated after a certain period. On top of the cons, you can enjoy the pros, and the cons differ from the company's internal team.
