Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!

I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. I was confident that it was a mutually beneficial situation. My advice would be to choose your job wisely, create value in the right place, and don't be afraid to negotiate.

Relatively decent company benefits (standard 401k) and healthcare. Also, contributions did not get raised over the last few years - money in your pocket.

Dislikes

Promotions were a JOKE. If you fawn around senior partners, you will get promoted. NO consideration of actual skills and competencies. The HR team was so full of ego and attitude. They really needed a lesson in HR. I think others have explained the cons very well so I don't need to get into further details, my sincere advice would not even consider this firm.
