New ideas are welcome provided they fall within the organisation mandate. Youngsters are mentored if they show potential to stick around for longer. Performance is rated and good performers are rewarded. Most of the senior staff has been with the organisation for more than 10 years. There is stability for conservation professionals.

Dislikes

...and are able to work around such minor hurdles. Lack of stable, professional HR. WTI really needs to amp up its salary structure for non conservation roles, (finance, marketing, HR, communication) as a higher pay elsewhere leads to high attrition in such roles.

One of the best work culture among the NGO's. Freedom to explore, learn and implementation. Supportive environment for new learnings and opportunities. Reachable and supportive Senior management. Promote team culture. Overall good working environment and culture.

Dislikes

Occassionally senior management gets carried away with inexperienced new comers. Salary is decent but career growth is slow.

The field work culture is good and the team hardworking. The kind of projects they are involved with is inspiring and motivating

The kind of transparency that should ideally exist, is missing. The organization is too tangled up in being a corporate and hence unable to achieve the best of neither being that nor being a not-for profit organization

Likes

Good work environment and culture. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are goo, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 4 years before which you cannot resign. on the job training os not given to new joinees.
