If you negotiate well the starting salary will be good as they have good hiring budget. That's the only good thing about WebMD Mumbai office

Dislikes

Favouritism. They will only promote people who stroke their ego. If you stand your ground you will never receive appraisals and appreciations. Work life balance is poor. They will threaten you with PIPs and firing even with the slightest mistakes. So poor job security.

Likes

Salary is good and on time. Pantry provides free meals and evening snacks. Work timings are flexible. Leave policy is good.

Dislikes

Workload will depend on how good your rapport is with your manager. Favoritism works here instead of sincere work. Horse-headed management with no scope for recommendations and improvement, will do what they think is best. If you share your thoughts and come under radar will ask you to leave without serving notice period. Very slow growth. Promotions also work on favoritism. Overall, favoritism works here and not talent.

The organization gives a good salary hike. The work-life balance is also very manageable as they don't burden you with too much work. You get one project or a maximum of 2 projects to work on.

Dislikes

I've worked for several years at WebMD without a promotion. They promote only the people who work from the office or prefer hiring senior talent from outside the organization. They should shuffle projects among people. Once they give you a project to work on, they don't move you from that project even though you might be bored of working on that project for over 2-3 years

My manager was worst. She has given me trauma which I am seeking a therapist to overcome it. After one year since resignation I am unable to overcome the trauma. I had no idea the amount of anxiety I would live with. She was definitely a person with anger issues and spoke with dominance. I asked for leave when my daughter was sick after the meeting ended to which she replied this is not the thing we are in for meeting. Hint: Women, similar to Mamta Banerjee. Keep guessing and be safe. I was earlier told it will be wfh but later forced me to come to office.
