...ly and force employees to follow his rules, never listen to his team concerns. Walmart proudly says there will be no layoffs, but internally managers are forcing employees to put papers for their cost cutting. And there is no skill development opportunity. If any higher authority could see this message, please take action over ANIL, and please listen to the employee concerns.

No opportunity was given, and no work life balance. Internal management is not good to support employees.

Well, first and foremost, I would say the company's overall reputation drew me in. Walmart has always been an industry leader in innovation and community-friendly standards. I've had a few friends and family members who either worked here or with the business and they've always raved about the atmosphere of professionalism. I look forward to being in a place that continually demands excellence while still allowing a healthy and positive work environment.

Speaking frankly, I dislike my salary. Now, salary isn’t the most important thing for me. But when you have a family, and bills to pay, items add up pretty quickly, and you easily end up with an empty bank account. I know that people with my job earn better, in many companies in this area. And I see no reason why I shouldn’t earn more. I want to assure you that I discussed the issue with my manager. But they said that in the current state of performance they could not offer me anything better to the nearest future. I have not excelled all my working days, have had ups & downs but when I am accountable for my downs i should also be accounted for my ups (good works). Anyways the other things are keeping me moving forward.

Although it varies from team to team, in general there is work life balance, and the work culture is good. The usual standard facilities like food at the office, and cab services are available. The additional benefits like mobile phone reimbursement, fitness reimbursement are okay as well. There is a general sense of belonging to the company due to the satisfactory culture.

Promotions after IN3/4 are usually slow. Compared to other Tier 1 tech companies, the compensation is generally a bit lesser. The primary goal isn't Engineering Excellence but tech is more of a retail-enabler.
