No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?

In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Vishal Mega helps you to get salary monthly by costing your Time & Family.

Dislikes

No workLife. Long working shift due to very less manpower sometime it's goes to 13 hours. Very bad HR policies. Higher Management will ask you do some work which took 10 manpower & wil give only 3 pressurized to complete.

Fast promotions, Timely salary payment.

Dislikes

Not provide appointment latter after joining and HR department not respond, Before joining said work location in my local area, but after joining tranfered other location, No one response for issues solving, Over time dutys but not provide OT. No leaves provide, even sick condition.

Manager always calls you in the midnight to ask numbers even after your duty hours Full toxic behaviour by higher management only that was implemented to sales person also No salary hike No leaves No off no compensatory offs No govt holiday No work life balance Learning zero

Dislikes

Worst work culture. Area Manager will start shouting at you on day one. He will call you in the late evening with drinking alcohol to harassing you and threatening you I will take your Job. You can't take weekly off on every week. Day 12 to 14 hours of work. You can't take leave on emergency. No appreciation. Area Manager will not support if you need some help. HR policy is worst
