Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!
I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. I was confident that it was a mutually beneficial situation. My advice would be to choose your job wisely, create value in the right place, and don't be afraid to negotiate.

Its a great place to work. Colleagues are very welcoming and supportive. Its been almost 2 years for me here and I really like the work atmosphere. Not too much of work burden allows for good work life balance.

The best thing about Vidyashilp at that time, which is very important for an employee, was the same remuneration for all the teachers irrespective of any subject.

Children were a bit indisciplined due the freedom given to them. Which I pointed out but management listened and took it positively rather than ignoring it.

It is a really good place to work. Teachers are given complete freedome to teach and the staff is quite friendly.

The growth prospects are a bit less but nevertheless there are teachers here who have worked for over 15 years.
