... lie about appraisal dont buy it. Accept the offer only if it a is good package. Because you are going to have same salary in your offer letter for more than 18 months. Also hard work wont be appreciated. Even work also sometimes not required. All you have to do is , be on time, dont take permissions, dont take any leaves, you will be appreciated. Even for thay also you wont get any monetary compensation — They have some big tv, your photos will be displayed there as proud employees thats all. Dot. Forget about Indian Public Holidays like Independence day. Also Forget about american holidays too. Just forget holidays man. They will ask you to come on public holidays. Later they will compensate that day for you. So dont ever plan in advance and book train tickets or else you have to cancel them and go in unreserved compartment. Also some times because they have to show some additional billing hours, they will ask to come on Saturdays for literally nothing. Dont work hard to get good appraisal, because nobody is going to know thats your idea/code. Follow the standard rule - stay close to management for good appraisal.
