Very cohesive team. Lots of opportunities for carrier growth. People should live with family at work place particularly officers. Job is secured so long as we maintain our integrity. Refresher courses be made compulsory for all levels at regular intervals

Dislikes

No direct interaction of engineers with their Minister No accountability for delay at Govt level No regular n timely recruitment of technical staff like other All India Services, resulting in discontinuity Of experienced and quality staff Less attention to Planning.Decisions are taken in haste . Lots of meetings by non technocrats with no fruitful results resulting in lesser time for field inspection. Lot of political intervention supported by bureaucrats
