Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

WORST CLASS Company. Weak management being manipulated by certain individuals holding prestigious positions in hierarchy. No Work culture. No opportunity to learn new things and grow in professional perspective. People who tries to perform and break free from the wrong practices being followed for decades, are targeted and pinned down. If any one wants to grow professionally, be advised to not to join.
