Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Likes

Good infrastructural structure. Some very good associates working with the firm.

Dislikes

Partiality in terms of working tenures of employees and their age, No credit given for work done as it’s Everytime stolen by the line manager, There is no professionalism between senior and juniors. The line manager is never on seat and does absolutely no work other than stealing the credit of the juniors workThe management needs to look into the bottom of the problem but that can’t be done as no problems are raised to the senior partner by the mid management staff.
