Compensation was the only thing that was better. Since it is a startup you get to learn a lot about leadership and your tech skills. And that's about it.

Dislikes

No work life balance. You will work for 14-16 hours a day. Even in weekends. They don't have much resource and you are forced to work on multiple projects. Internal favouritism and politics. If they can't afford you or found a cheaper replacement, they will indirectly torture you which will push you to resign or they will fire you doing drama. You won't be allowed to take leave even if it is very important. You will be forced to work. Very toxic work culture. Depends on your role and project. Please read the offer letter very carefully before joining.

I was getting 15.2 LPA in my previous org and now i am being offered 29.5 LPA but the designation is 1 position lower than what i was in my previous org. Should i go ahead with the offer or still negotiate on designation. Protip : i was laid off in my previous org.
