...aborative. It creates an open culture and I know I voice my opinion to the team. The work at tophire is exhilarating; the compensation structure is definitely higher than the standard once you start growing. As a small startup, we need to push ourselves and that's exactly what's required at TopHire. It's nothing different than what another small startup wouldn't expect. The role is rewarding which makes it even more interesting. And if I an managing my work well, I can vouch for the encouragement and reward from my higher ups.

Dislikes

There are a few areas where improvement could be made. The workload, while expected in a high growth environment can sometimes be demanding, which occasionally affects work life balance. Introducing more initiatives focused on employee wellness - such as mindfulness programs or wellness days could be valuable in promoting overall wellbeing. Additionally, while the paid leave policy is competitive, extending the number of days or offering vacation specific leave would provide employees with the opportunity to rest and recharge. Additionally, a few medical leaves can also be offered without making any changes to existing leave policy which the employees can avail in times of a medical emergency. In that way the other type of leaves can be used for vacation specific or other personal reasons.

The compensation is fair as compared to lot of other companies. Having a 5 day work week helps. They promote employees quickly.

Dislikes

The work culture is a mess. Firstly, there is no dedicated HR department (hence no one to handle your grievances). The co-founder believes in micro management to the point where he might ask you for hourly updates. They call you after office hours for work even if its 10pm in the night. You'll be asked to share pictures of your workplace, record videos of yourself, your laptop etc. Lots of office politics, and most freshers WILL feel bullied. Oh, and also the company had a rating of 2.9/5 initially, they have asked their present employees to post positive reviews to save their reputation and fake a positive environment.
