Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Tma is giving salary. But we didnt get any increment this year. Our salary is to in any scale or pay commission. Attitude of the present principal is very bad.

Dislikes

Principal is not good. Discriminates among staffs. Skill or ability of a teacher is not considered by her. Assaults a teacher publicly. Not an ideal principal.
